This looks fun in an odd way – they have a tuba! :)
The mighty Lippizanas a supposedly spectacular psychedelic latin Jazz band with vibes / drums / sax / flute / percussion / bass / tuba are playing on Friday 23rd @ 8.45pm at The Wine Cellar, 183 K Road. There’s a $5 door charge.
This just sounds like heaps of fun, and quite beguilingly odd.

K Road Plasticware Centre
The Plasticware Centre (which may or may not be “Payless”), has been a K Road fixture for years, lurking in the basement of the HB building on the corner of Mercury Lane.
But, sadly, a sign has appeared recently advising customers that the shop is closing down. One more piece of old K Road is going.
