Crafty goodness

03.16.10 | nikkitheknitter | Comment?

I’m a crafty kid who has just moved up from Wellington to the Land of Auck and am thus on a mission to alleviate the pain from having to miss the last few Craft2.0 fairs. Fortunately, Auckland seems to be well served by several smaller regular craft fairs which I am quite looking forward to heading along to.

So if you are in the same position as me and looking for a place to do some guilt-free spending, then look no further as I have compiled a little list. If you are like me but a bit less shit, and have found more craft markets that I haven’t actually mentioned, feel free to mention them in comments and I’ll update the list.

Kraftbomb – held every last Sunday of the month at the Grey Lynn Community Centre from 11am-2pm

Devonport Craft Market – runs on the first Sunday of every month at the Devonport Community House, 32 Clarence Street, Devonport from 11am – 3pm

Crafternoon Tea – catch em on the third Saturday of every month at the Holy Trinity Church, corner of Sandringham and New North Roads, Kingsland from 10am – 3pm

If it happens that you’re too lazy to leave your bed on a weekend, then there’s always Felt or Toggle to deliver to your door. Thank goodness.
