I'm waiting at the train station for the next ancient diesel engine to chug along. Waiting, waiting. And waiting. Still waiting. I finally remember my brand new Nokia 6121 has magical internet powers for cheap, so I whip it out, and head to maxx.co.nz to check the train timetable. It was due ten minutes ago, so I keep waiting. It rains. Fortunately there is a copy of the Central Leader on the bench. I make a hat out of it.

WELL, now that spring's around the corner, I'll again suffer the sunlight cajoling me from my sunny home-office. As I set out for the 10-minute walk up to the Fridge, or Crucial Traders, I'll lose my nerve and leave my MacBook / Vodem combo at the house. Despite the glut of online self-employed entrepreneurs in Shaky Isles, I'm still too chicken to tap on my lappy amid the artistes and musos. But oh! The lure of sunshine and coffee... With the mobile internet on my trusty-yet-unobtrusive Nokia 6121, I can enjoy my coffee without fretting about not-working, since I can check my remote boss's plea-mails at my leisure.
