Aucklandista, gossip, religion

I’m sure it actually meant to say “sax”

Sex!Hi Hadyn here again. As I drove into Auckland during my recent trip north I passed this billboard in Onehunga.

Well, according to the Herald this morning Auckland’s Pacific Island Community is up in arms about it “queuing up” to see it. Sorry, to to see it removed.

Will ‘Ilolahia, a Tongan community leader, said that he had heard the billboard was the subject of at least five Tongan church sermons on Sunday.

No word yet on how many in the community have called the 0800 number.

The thing I liked about the article in the Herald was the chaos a small hyphen* would’ve made in the headline:

Protester’s angry-sex billboards still stand

*and an apostrophe I suppose
